BWC Changes Procedure for Setting Wages in Ohio Comp Claims
The BWC changes the procedure for setting wages in workers comp claims.
In an effort to more efficiently process claims, last year the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation began processing wages in one office. The unintended result is that it now takes several weeks, if not months to process wages. Many injured Ohioans are needlessly waiting for payment of their temporary total disability benefits.
We are hoping that they will speed up the process soon but in the meantime injured workers should file all wage documentation as soon as possible to start the process.
