Although practicing law since 1999, Angelique Hartzell has worked with our firm since 1991 dealing with all aspects of administrative Ohio Workers' Compensation claims. As an attorney with the firm, Angelique's focus is litigating denied workers' compensation claims. She has successfully handled hundreds of litigation cases in Workers' Compensation due to her 20 years of experience in this area.

My Story:

Little did Angie Hartzell know that a college job would lead to her life's work.

"I was a paralegal in Seaman Garson LLC's Workers' Compensation department while a sophomore in college and enjoyed the experience immensely," she says. "It fueled my determined to go to law school."

After Angie received her law degree she was welcomed back to the firm with open arms and was asked to handle workers' compensation litigation.

"I never considered working anywhere else," she says. "This is a wonderful office. Everyone is so professional, friendly and supportive and I am constantly challenged by the work I do."

A Clevelander who grew up on the West Side, Angie enjoys the relationships she has built with her clients. "I like the hard working people who ask me to file their workers' compensation claims," she says. "I also have great rapport with the attorneys on the opposing side, and this helps get things done fairly and quickly."

People who know Angie can count on her honesty and commitment to the causes she believes in. "I wear my heart on my sleeve," she explains. "If you want to know the truth about something, just ask. I'll give you the honest answer whether you like it or not. I'm not shy about speaking out whenever I see that justice is not served."

In her spare time Angie enjoys the many events and activities Cleveland has to offer. "There is so much to enjoy here in Cleveland. I'm proud to call this city home" she says.
